यहाँ पर शेर, हाथी, भालू, बाघ, सुअर, हिरन, चीतल, साँभर, पांडा, काकड़, नीलगाय, घुरल और चीता आदि ‘वन्य प्राणी’ अधिक संख्या में मिलते हैं। इसी तरह इस वन में अजगर तथा कई प्रकार के साँप भी निवास करते हैं। जहाँ इस वन्य पशु विहार में अनेक प्रकार के भयानक जन्तु पाये जाते हैं, वहाँ इस पार्क में लगभग ६०० रंग – बिरंगे पक्षियों की जातियाँ भी दिखाई देती हैं। यह देश एक ऐसा अभयारण है जिसमें वन्य जन्तुओं की अनेक जातियाँ – प्रजातियों के साथ पक्षियों का भी आधिक्य रहता है। आज विश्व का ऐसा कोई कोना नहीं है, जहाँ के पर्यटक इस पार्क को देखने नहीं आते हों।
